Button Builders is a personal research practice on Sanity: tools, toys and tactics for building websites that work — for people, and for the AI answer engines that increasingly read them first.

It is not an agency, and there is nothing for sale.

Over the next few months it becomes three things, all free:

• A Sanity theme you can install and build on.
• A Sanity plugin that shows whether AI answer engines are likely to cite your pages, and what to fix if not.
• An agent skill that teaches a coding agent how to build well on Sanity.

This site is the proof. It runs on the theme, and what we learn building it gets written down here.
